Sewer Department

Mr. Andre Gendreau is the superintendant of the St. Agatha Sewer Dept. He has been in this position since fall 2004. His duties include overseeing all plant operations, permitting, testing and reporting.

Mr. Gorman Chamberlain has been employed by the Town of St. Agatha Sewer Department since the fall of 2004. He is a Grade II certified plant operator and he can be reached at 543-7417 or 316-4669.

The St. Agatha Sewer System was created in 1967 as a separate entity known as the St. Agatha Sanitary District. Over the years several expansions have been made expanding the coverage area of the sewer service. There are currently 300 users and the operating budget for the Department is about $110,000 which is completely funded through dues. The 2006 sewer dues are $370 per user, per year.
